There are a lot of cute dresses on sale at Chadwicks. Many to most of them are strappy, but long, so if you want to make it more modest you could throw on a cardigan or something. They are kind of springy. I didn't want to spend any more time over there so I didn't even explore the skirts and stuff much.

Oooooooo! How long has it been since I've shopped at Chadwicks???? Ummmm...probably since the days of shoulder pads, big hair, and tapered jeans. Please tell me I'm not the only here that has buried pictures of the 80's!
Think I'll pop over and see how they've changed! Thanks for the sale heads-up, Dawn!

I would probably be a finalist for the "biggest hair in the 80's" if we were to have such a contest....

I don't know...I'm betting I could give you a run for your money...not that I'd ever want that picture published!!! But, raise your hand if you will NEVER be showing anyone your senior pictures!
Very funny! I wonder if in 20 years we'll look back to 2009 and say, "what was I thinking with those glasses and that hair!"

Sorry, Dawn....I'll quit hijacking your Chadwicks thread with my trip down memory lane now!!
I did go look and their skirts look really nice. I'm tempted to drop a hint or two since my birthday is right around the corner.

Hijack away! I've never seen Chadwicks before but was quite surprised at how cute the stuff was. I bought a dress and shoes to match..oh and one day dress. The tax and shipping were about $14, though. Gotta hate that. Are there Chadwicks with physical storefronts? I may look around town...

I used to buy Chadwicks all the time when I was working corporate and "had" to have a different outfit everyday! There stuff is not bad and the service is quick. I like the online shopping as you know right away if they're out of that skirt or dress you've been drooling over.
I didn't have big hair in the 80s ... I was still in my Dorothy Hamil phase ...

I challenge anyone to an 80's Big Bang competition. You know, poofy, curled at the end, explosion bangs cemented with a can of Rave Ultra Hold. How about long sloppy tunics, leggings and bracelet sized hoop earrings? Ahhh, Memory Lane!
Thanks for the info on the Chadwicks sale. I am in the mood for spring dresses!
