First walker Wagons, but I'm also looking at ride on toys. Something very basic, very beginner, and not plastic.
Suggestions? What works for you for your toddler?

Radio Flyer Scoot About
I plugged this on the other thread, but it's metal, not wood.

We had the Radio Flyer Walker Wagon and we LOVED it. I got it for my now almost 7 years old, and then passed it on to my now 4 year old, and had it until last year for carrying around toys. It really held up and was loved by all the kids.

My dd had a ride-on giraffe like this one (sorry this is a UK eBay listing!).
Not only did she love it, it's still in excellent condition after years of use.
Looks like it's pretty hard to find, though.

This sounds good, Rachel. How does it work on carpet? Dave wants to know...he's doubting it will work inside. You've seen the mix of floors we have here.

We ended up buying the Radio Flyer #320 Tiny Trike for Christmas. Haven't put it together. I think I opted for it over your suggestion because of the grip tread. I don't want him flying over the kitchen floor. I agonized over this decision, of course, Scoot About or Tiny Trike. I probably made the wrong decision.

Jenn, I'm sorry I missed this, but honestly, I think the Tiny Trike looks just as good. Tell Dave we use the scoot about primarily inside with no worries. But our kitchen is a dead end so the bike isn't in ours as often as N's may be in yours. I hope he loves it.
