Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

bfp is big fat positive in case you weren't sure

it's been almost 6 months. this is the first time i've never been instantly pregnant. i seemed to be having regular cycles but then had 2 that i'm pretty sure were annovulatory. this one seems normal again, but i am dreading AF showing up next week.

Dear Roma,

I have always gotten pregnant within three or four cycles after a miscarriage. God has been good to me that way. I know some say that your body takes longer to recover from a D and C than from a natural miscarriage, though that has not been true in my case.

Prayers for you.

We've conceived after a miscarriage as early as 3 weeks before, but it's never been longer than 2 months. (I've never had a D&C)

you know i'm wondering if my body is more following suit similar to return of fertility after birth. i have a very lengthy infertility after birth. even when the cycles come, i'm not immediately able to carry a pregnancy either from a short phase 3 or no ovulation.

I conceived within 2 months with 3 of mine (no D & C) and 6 months after my miscarriage with a D & C. I had my last miscarriage 1 1/2 years ago and no pregnancy in site, probably due to age. It is so hard to want to be pregnant. Praying for you.

As I have gotten older (only 36 ) it has been longer after each one. Not that you will have the same issue, but I mc'ed almost a year ago and still haven't been reliably cycling.

I pray your body settles and you can again have a BFP!
