I just ordered these diapers for Maria. We received 6 months worth of disposable diapers from my baby shower and we are finally running out this week, so yesterday I ordered 9 of them.
Last night in bed I was thinkng, "What have I done?" Wish me luck. I don't know what I'm doing.

We have a bunch of BG's, we like them (among other things). Good luck! And it's OK to make it *work for you* - I sometimes take whole weeks off, and generally use disposables at night, on Sundays, and any other time I feel it's best for my sanity.
Have fun with the fluffy goodness!

We bought that brand last June for our 2 youngest (the one-size concept sold us). We have been quite satisfied. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask
God bless,
Christine

I've been looking at these exact diapers for a couple of months, but my dh really wants to stick with disposables for now.
I'm really glad to hear you guys like the BG. I'll file that away.
How many did you order Ruth?

I LOVED BG's when we had them. I ended up not being able to keep up with the diaper laundry with 2 in diapers at the time. Now that we only have one in diapers, (YES Ladies!!! My 3yo is potty trained!!!!! ) I compromised and went with g-diapers.

That was how we did it, at least pre-Aidan.
I preferred the feeling of the cloth diapers so much that I was motivated to use them as much as possible but on trips and at night it made sense for us to use disposable.

I ordered 9, but I'm sure I need to get more. I checked my area list before I ordered them, but there were none available. I'm going to look into NOVA's Craig List sometime today.

Yeah Ruth! MAria will be so cute!! We do cloth diapers from Juliestuff too, but I also go back and forth. We do disposable for nights and when we are out. Good luck!

I have done cloth on and off for 16 years! I am getting ready to switch Seth back to them. I have always preferred the "old-fashioned" combination of prefolds and Gerber plastic pants. All the expensive covers I tried in the past didn't work as well. But the plastic pants are hard to come by.
So, I was searching around and found this great offer. You can try out several different types of cloth diapering products without worrying about the price. I think I might give it a try. Hopefully, I will find something that works.
Good luck Ruth!

We have used cloth for two kids now and wouldn't change it. We use FuzziBunz, but I've heard great things about BGs. You'll love it!

I love cloth diapers!
Well, actually, what I love is not paying for disposable diapers and wipes everytime we go to the grocery store! I've probably spent several hundred dollars on cloth diapers, but I would have spent thousands on disposables over the years. It seriously saves a lot of money.
I use just plain old chinese prefolds with pins and a waterproof cover (my favorite is a Bummi cover, but I have some vinyl Gerber covers and some Zippedys covers, too).
You'll do fine, Ruth! Maria might need to move up to the next size in clothes, though. Cloth diapers create quite a bit more bulk in the diaper area!

We've used cloth for 13 years now! :) I do much like Dawn though, CPF and a waterproof cover. I have lots of homemade woolies and I bought some Thirsties covers while pg with Mark to replace the Bummis that have been on 5 kids!
