Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have been using California Baby bath soap but really don't like the smell. Even dh complains that the baby doesn't smell like a baby. I used Baby Magic for all my other babies and loved the scent. So, to us, that is what a baby is supposed to smell like. But now, I want something natural.

So, what do you use?

We use this in the lavender-chamomile scent. Smells very baby to me after three years of it!

I am in love with Healthy Times Baby Bath. It has a very soft, delightful honeysuckle scent. It's my favorite!

We use Burt's Bees Buttermilk Bath for all the children. The lotion is great too, and smells just like the baby wash. I usally use Burt's Milk and Honey lotion for the baby though. He smells so good I could eat him!

I occasionally still miss the smell of Johnson and Johnson's Lavender wash and lotion. But one look at the back of the bottle cures me of that very quickly!

I love the scent of Burt's Bees Baby bath and wash, as well as the lotion. They are so gentle on baby skin, too! Sometimes instead of lotion I take a clean bottle and mix together some nice oils (apricot kernel, sweet almond, olive, jojoba, etc)and use this on the kids and myself instead of lotion. It makes our skin so soft!

Burts Bee's causes some of my kids to break out in hives    (weird, I know!) I love Healthy Times too. Indigo Wild makes a yummy lavender baby bath and lotion, but it makes my husband sneeze! So, for now we are using California Baby unscented. I don't want to find out what a ymmy smelling soap could do to Mark just yet.

I would love to try the Healthy Times Baby. But it is so much more expensive than California Baby. I guess I will have to stick with that for now and deal with my baby not smelling like a baby!

Thanks everyone!

Molly -
I think Calif Baby is more expensive than Healthy Times.....I was just getting ready to place an order on Mother Nature and....

Calif Bab - 8.5 oz - is $7.89
Healthy Times - 8 oz is $4.49

Thanks Suzanne! I was confusing the Healthy Times with the Nature's Baby Organics which is $9.95 for 8 oz.

I just ordered Healthy Time baby bath, shampoo and conditioner for $14 including shipping from Amazon. Thanks! I can't wait to get it. I love Honeysuckle.
