Anyone have a recommendation for the best baby food grinder?

Well, to be honest I have found for our baby the best thing is a curved chopped in a wooden bowl (like for herbs - mezzaluna I think they're called) and sometimes a fork.

We tried an Annabel Karmel grinder which was useless and then a stainless steel food mill which was also useless. I am thinking a lot depends on the sort of food you are cooking and serving the baby - we just give whatever we are eating, and she's thrived on it.

sorry we didn't use one. we either did the plate and fork thing...or a small food processor.

I use my Vitamix or Oster - both work well. Oster does a little container you can buy for small amounts. I just do a lot and freeze in little baby food ice trays with lids.

I use 2 things for the different stages:
As a baby, I used this food grinder.
As the kids get older and need finger food size, I use my Pampered Chef Food Chopper that will make it as big or small as you need. You could use it to get baby food really mushy, but I think if you are looking for baby food (like in the jar) quality, the food grinder is really great for that.

I have the baby food grinder that Fuzzy recommends. It's great for eating out at restaurants.
