Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I found this sitewhen looking for hair bows for my girls. I can never find nice ones at the store and those that I do find are made in China. This site has mom-made, in the USA, bows and headbands. They will even customize colors for you. Shipping is free in the US.

Just thought I would pass it along!

Hi,

I make hair bows too . I donated some to the 4Real conference. I am in the process of setting up a webshop, but with the sudden new job/move, I just have not had the time.

But I can do special orders still .

My website is:

Olde Fashioned Frills but there really isn't much there to look at yet....

Smiles,

Oh, that's so exciting! I had already ordered some Christmas ones, but with five girls we always need more!

OK....so do I want the alligator clippies or the small french barrettes?

I usually put their front hair back in a ponytail on the top of their head. They are ages 6.5,5,4. Only the 5year old has super fine hair. Blooming Bows recommends the french barrettes for only older girls. What's "older"?   But, most other places seem to go with alligator clips.   Do the barrettes stay in better? or not nec.

All these questions for silly hair bows. This is all new to me....I've been a bare-bones-kinda-mom these past several years, but now I'm getting requests for bows and "pretty things" in their hair, which is great! Except I know nothing!

I think older is older than your girls. I didn't order any barrettes just the clips, and my girls are 8 and under. My 11 yr old didn't want one.

I have yet to find barrettes that don't slide right out of their hair. I am hoping the clips work. I do the same thing, ponytail with a bow.

I make most of my bows set on different sizes of the french clips. I have used alligator clips, but in using them on my own daughter's hair, I don;t love them. They turn, and so the bows end up lopsided if they jump, run, etc. Or, if you have them covered in ribbon, I find it very difficult to get through their hair.

HTH,

Jennifer....thank you!!!   You're not hijacking.....it's a thread about hairbows...girls----hairbows-----girls----hairbows.....
