Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

If you had a little man who was 2 and he was displaying some inappropriate behavior.....see here and you needed to give him a brief timeout until he was ready to stop displaying said inappropriate behavior....and he could crawl out of the pack-n-play...where would you have this time out?

Thanks,
Kathleen

On my lap or sitting on the floor near where I am working. (Mine can all climb out of the pack-n-play well before two. )

Well, we have a small 1/2 bath off of our kitchen, I have been known to put children there until they choose to behave.

We use a highchair, facing the wall but far enough away from the wall so he can't kick himself over.
I also make sure he is securely buckled in. I also make sure I can see him during this time.

and if necessary.. because some kids are impossible to secure, securely, with just the lap belts.. you can put one of those child harnesses for walking with a leash on them.. and slip the waist belt through that as well.

A friend of mine has a carseat that they aren't using and that they're little guy can't unbuckle by himself. So they brought that indoors and put it in a bathroom. So he sits in the seat on the floor, buckled in. I think recently though (when they started school) they moved it upstairs to his bedroom because he would scream and be too loud.
