in her own bed for the first time in 8 weeks.

as I was tucking her in and rubbing her forehead, I asked her if she was happy to be in her own bed.

she said, " yes mommy. I am home now."

the whole time we were in transit, she kept telling me she wanted to go home, "let's go home now. mom, me home now". she is too young to understand that we aren't ever going back to that house...but last night was so precious.

I now feel good about her adjusting. she just needed her stuff....bed, fav toys, her little bike and her other blankets. she is a happy camper now.
