I wonder if everyone in this forum would be interested in sharing the names and/or websites of the agencies that they used for their adoption(s). I have found that when you know people who have used a particular agency, it is easier than just pulling them off the web or out of a phone book!

Our children were all adopted as US foster to adopt children from my local DHS agency. We have not adopted from this agency, A Child's Waiting but it is the one we are considering next. What I particularly like is that they act as a matching service to locate waiting children in the U.S. already free for adoption, but not necessarily just from your state.

We used Holt International 3 times--very happy with them and the support/integrity they offer throughout the process. We hit some snags and they were wonderful about helping us.

CCAI (Chinese Children Adoption International) was our agency and we had a great experience.

I'm thrilled to see this thread. I'm praying that we will find a homestudy agency that is willing to study a large homeschooling family.

We're in Massachusetts, so if anyone knows of a good agency here, do let me know.

We used www.catholicadoption.info , St. Joseph's Adoption Agency in Kansas City. Sister Dolora is the best! They have contacts all over the country.

So far we've used two local agencies. One we adopted a child as a newborn and the other we adopted a sibling group of three from foster care.
