Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I was searching for silk night caps (which I still haven't found) and came across this very interesting article.

Do any of you have your girls sleep in a night cap? If so, where did you buy them?
Thanks

I have my dd sleep in one. I got it at Walmart for under $2.00. I doubt it is real silk for that price but it does the trick and keeps her hair looking nicer for a longer time. She is pretty good about bringing it to me every night before bed.

I couldn't get the link to work.

We don't do night caps here. We tried for a while, but the girls just don't keep things on their head well. However, our hair troubles aren't as bad as they used to be so I don't feel like we need them any more.

This article is a must read!

Try this: Google - "Locks of Controversy" and then click on the Boston Globe website.

For some reason - (I don't understand the workings of the internet) - when you first search for this article it comes up on the Boston Globe site. But when you try to find it again, it won't let you read it without registering.
