The 13 and 15 yo's are having a garage sale today. 9 yo ds decides to sell lemonade. I buy the lemonade, the cups, and supply the ice and water.
5 yo ds decides to sell brownies, which I bake at 9 a.m. this morning.
15 yo dd is the first to buy lemonade at .50, with part of her proceeds. 5 yo ds asks me for .50 to buy lemonade.
When 5yo ds takes the first of his batch of brownies out, they sell out: to 15 yo dd and 9 yo ds, who uses the profits of his lemonade.
I think these kids need a manager!

Elizabeth, I will see your three .....and raise you two more
Very funny, Gwen! Thank you for sharing!
But,,,,,isn't it wonderful for your children to have a mom who allows them the opportunity to experience, and practice, at real life! What freedom your children have!!
I am proud of you!

Oh thank you!! .
Here's an update:
Our neighbor dropped by around 2:00 and 5 yo ds decided to loan her $1 so she could buy his brownies (and pay him back of course ). Then as she's explaining her husband's graveyard schedule, 9 yo ds says "So he's nocturnal?"
I've just been laughing all day!

what a fun day for you!
I had a wonderful morning myself.........a baby shower, and the theme was picture books, of course!
I am exhausted.....and I see you have written an email over there with my prayer request ..........and I am SO sleepy.......I know I will not answer it yet ....but for the moment.......tell your girls that are praying..........to keep praying, Anne is still needing at least the same amount of prayers!!
and, hey, pray that I will get up the energy to actually write an update
thanks, Gwen!
