Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Last year I found this little kid friendly version of A Christmas Carol
It is, funnily enough, a pop up version, and is not scary at all while still staying true to the original story.

I was glad to find it, since I wanted my kids to know the story but knew that many versions would be too scary for them just yet.

Do you have a favorite version- or do you stick to the original?

I'm glad you posted this. I love the premise of this story but my DS 9 1/2!!! did NOT want to hear a lot of the stuff in the original version. It really bothered him quite a bit. I now have the movie sitting to watch and I'm not sure he'll even be comfortable watching it.
