I 'd love one for my daughter who wants to be a nun. I don't mind if it is a story or factual, just would like beautiful pics. Does anyone have a favourite?

Since you're specifically looking for picture books - these I think are listed in those older threads, but wanted to include them here. It would be wonderful to get a running list here in the picture book thread.
Sister Anne's Hands which is included in Catholic Mosaic.
Snow Day
Keep the suggestions coming.

Has anybody read any of Jonathan Routh's Nun books? This is an EBay Link so I don't know how long it'll be good for but it has the best views of the insides. Doesn't it look fascinating?
It looks like there are 4 books in the series,
The Nuns Go to Africa. 1971.
The Nuns Go to Penguin Island. 1971.
The Nuns Go East. 1972.
The Nuns Go West. 1972.
Anybody read one?

Oh my, Jennifer, they do look wonderful. I need to see if I can find some copies to see - not a cheap investment, it doesn't look like.
Edited: One of the local college libraries has three of them. I just requested them through our state library loan system - so excited...

A few more:
We have these except for the last one, just found that on Amazon -- it's a two-sided book (?) with one side talking about priests and the other side about nuns.

I have this one, and do not recommend it. The text is very vague and is identical for the priest side and the nun side. Stuff like "they help people, they play, they laugh and cry"... Also most of the nuns are not drawn in habit, FYI.

Ah. I was afraid of that. Thanks for letting us know, Stacy!
