Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My son (grade 8) is reading "The Merchant of Venice." I was wondering if there is any dvd version of the play that is true to the original and suitable for a young teen. I looked online a bit, but couldn't really make up my mind. Has anyone ever used a dvd for this?

We watched the one with Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons and Joseph Fiennes. Sooooooo good! We really enjoyed it.
I can't say if it would be appropriate for your young teen. I tend to be more lenient than some.

We saw the same version of Merchant of Venice. We enjoyed it immensely. And that is one of my favorite Shakespearean plays...
