I am looking for more Salvation History type books for all of my kids...most especially the middle readers. I know of Life of Our Lord for Children and Old Testament Rhymes...any others??

In or out of print? Or both? I've got a few ideas.
I'm presuming you want something that either covers from Creation to the Resurrection? Or parts of that would be okay?
Don't forget the Liturgical Year is a repeating of our salvation history through the liturgy every year. So to me, Introduction to the Liturgical Year by Inos Biffi is the perfect book for this.

Not sure if these will exactly fit the bill. It seems there are Bible History and lives of Christ, but not usually the whole covering.
In print:
Jesus of Nazareth by Mother Mary Loyola
The Book of Books: The Old Testament by Daniel-Rops and The Book of Life: The New Testament Retold
OOP:
::A Life of Christ for Children Illustrated with Repoductions of Famous Paintings, no author, Longmans Green, 1910, 1928
::Gospel Rhymes by Sheed and Ward, 1934. Various poets.
::Growing Up in Christ: The Glad News of God's Presence by Jeanne Beaumont, Liturgical Press, 1967. Covers the life of Christ.
::A String of Sapphires by Helen Parry Eden, 1920, Burns and Oates. This is another collection of poetry illustrating Christ's life. It's quite beautiful!
::My Bible History: Old Testament and My Bible History: New Testament by Louis Morrow.

Oh one more I thought of, which dwells a bit on the life of Christ by Maria Von Trapp.
Let Me Tell You About My Savior: Yesterday, Today & Forever/When the King Was Carpenter by Maria von Trapp. It's a combination of two books that helps the reader understand the time of Christ. Not exactly Salvation history, but interesting.

These books are reprints and use older spellings (Noe instead of Noah) but they are quite good at placing the Old and New Testament events into the context of history.
Another option for middle school children would be this game (which comes complete with Bible) or the associated flashcards and workbooks.
I've found the Breakthrough Bible materials to fit reasonably well between the The Great Adventure Kids products and the Great Adventure teen products.

Sorry! I guess I am "talking shop" at this point...LOl
Salvation History is "the story of Our Father's dealing with the human race" or in other words how God prepared His people for His coming.
I fell in love with teaching it and I am hungry for more...LOL
As an adult I loved reading Marigold Hunt's book The Story of Our Lord for Children" for all of the "connections". It was a lot of fun to read WITH my older children (as a read-aloud) and they eventually memorized the book Old Testament Rhymes by Robert Hugh Benson for a poetry day (we have one quarterly with the local homeschoolers) THAT was a blast...all of the kids pitched in and helped with the presentation....nothin' like performing for peers 
Then, when they were older, the then watched the T3 Timeline with me (from Ascension Press) and Jeff Cavins's and Scott Hahn's programs. We then started going to a formal bible study that is rather advanced and given by a hebrew scholar who has studied the bible for yeeeaaaars....ooh and it is FREE We were blown out of the water but are awed and are keeping up...lol
So...here I have the "2nd batch" of kids coming up. I have a ds who is in 6th grade and dd in 5th. I want to make things fun and meaningful for them with as much of the trickle down knowledge as possible, of course
That is why I want to know and I hope it somehow helps...even though I am rambling a lot!

Have you read Scott Hahn's A Father Who Keeps His Promises?
I used it for a small group of 8th graders and they learned a lot. There is a small section about Ham and Noah that I did skip but the rest was great. I am sure you could do this as a read aloud.
Another book that my 9th graders loved and handled very well was Bishop Sheen's Life of Christ. The reprinting has odd bible quotes (the references are correct but it seems the quotes were taken from a different translation which is a real pain. But you will be able to see exactly what Sheen meant if you look up the references in a more common edition like RSV).
Don't know if that will help you with your youngers but I am sure you'll love both books.
