Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

OK- Who has been watching?
What do you think?

I am enjoying it immensely- even just for seeing the fashions and the beautiful settings. Could do without Harriet's hairdo, though

Oh, yes, me too. It is awful. I've enjoyed Emma. Did anyone else see both episodes 2 and 3 on Sunday night? The PBS schedule states that episode 3 will be on this Sunday.

Oh, and do you any of you watch DIY Sweat Equity? The woman who plays Emma looks so much like Amy Matthews, I kept waiting for her to grab an electric screwdriver and fix something.

We only had episode 2. We can't wait for 3. My dh is going to have to leave to watch the second half of the Super Bowl elsewhere. (1 TV, no DVR). My kids are loving it. I am so happy!

We saw two hours the first Sunday, then one hour the next Sunday. Was that episodes 1,2 and 3? Dh let me know that you can also watch the episodes anytime (I think?) on line at PBS. I love Emma's clueless look with the bug eyes. And I think Frank Weston is a perfect smarmy portrayal. I did like Harriet better in the Gwenyth Paltrow Emma- she was much sweeter/cuter and not quite so pathetic as the PBS Harriet.... plus better hair

Oh- can't forget Mrs. E... too funny!!

Part 4? I though there were only three episodes. I'm confused...

ETA: In my area Emma is not on Sunday night. No, it's not because of THE GAME. Instead there is a 90 minute presentation of "Miss Austen Regrets."
