Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I was in the children's section of Barnes and Nobel and ran across this book. From the back cover it seemed to advocate child-led learning. I just wanted to know if anyone here has read it.

I saw it, too, at B & N, but don't know anything about it. My daughter was eyeing it. Curious as well...

No time now, but I googled the book title. You can find out more about it there.
God bless,

Homeschool Liberation League does sound interesting ... very unschoolish ... Here's the link to the author's page where you can find out more. Lucy Frank seems to write books for the tween set ... exploring all the various aspects of today's life: one book is about anorexia, another about romance ... etc.
