I have a question for all you moms with voracious readers who cannot keep up with what your children read! When you are evaluating a chapter book for your children, when you can't or don't plan to read the whole thing, are there any websites to which you refer for book reviews or detailed summaries or such? I can't wait to read everyone's links! Thanks for your tips.

Jenny ... here's one of the best ... Favorite Resources for Catholic Homeschoolers is run by Alicia VanHecke and has reviews for all kinds of books, videos, and other resources. She has a separate blog for movies and does a reading thru history list ...

That should give you a good start ....

I have a website which does book reviews Catholic Media Review. We don't specialize in children's books, but new Cathoic books. It's a group blog with two homeschooling moms on board, so maybe we will do some children's book reviews.
