It's not like I need a book to read to Luke right now. We've got plenty to read, but I am wondering if anyone knows anything about The Diamond in the Window by Jane Langton. According to Amazon, there are 7 titles in this series (The Hall Family Chronicles). I have never heard of them before. Has anyone read these? They are in the fantasy genre.

I remember reading Diamond in the Window as a child as I lived in Concord, MA where the actual house still sits (and yes, I think the diamond is still there!). I can't say I remember much about the book, except that I really loved it! As an adult I still read alot of Jane Langton's mysteries which are also set in that town. You just reminded me that I picked up a copy of this book not too long ago at a library used book sale....now if I can only find it somewhere in the house I'll read it again and post a better opinion!
