Any recommendations on his books...I heard him speak but have never read any of his books. I know he has won awards but...that doesn't always indicate great books.

My dd's book club has read a couple of his books - The Teacher's Funeral and A Year Down Yonder oh and I forgot my ds's book club is reading Fair Weather. I can't say that I have read them...but the book clubs are run by great ladies...so I'm trusting! My dd has already her two listed above and liked them a lot. My ds is still just getting into his. HTH

I loved the Blossom Culp books as a kid and reread them every autumn just before Halloween still. Dd is a fan now too. Highly recommended, laugh out loud funny books.
