Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just wanted to mention this title to you ladies. It is by Pam Munoz Ryan.

Its about an immigrant family from Mexico. The main character is a girl about 15 yrs old. (Good for your teen girls.) The story is beautiful and hopeful, strong on family and hard work. And of course, Our Lady of Guadalupe is in there too!

I really enjoyed reading it... it was sweet and light, while still having a message!

Enjoy!
