Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've been looking for The Hobbit in audio form for the car (several long trips coming up). Our library has downloadable audio, but not any of tolkien, either through overdrive or netlibrary. Audible doesn't have it either. So, I'll buy the CD's but is there a preference for narrator? The one I saw on Amazon was Rob Inglis and another by Martin Shaw. The rest are abridged I think, so I don't want that.
thanks.

The only unabridged one on CD is from recordedbooks.com
10 cds. Narrated by Ron Inglis. We listened to this last summer driving from NJ to WY and it was great! We all loved it!

I second Inglis. His narration is inspired.

Thanks, i just ordered it. I re-read the LOTR trilogy a few months ago but didn't re-read The Hobbit, and this will be great in the car.
