Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone read this series of books? I "inherited" eight books in the series...I'm not too impressed with what I've read online, and I'm thinking that I'll get rid of them (they're taking up too much precious bookshelf space ). If anyone can make a convincing case that I should keep them, I'd be glad to hear it!
Thanks!

Haven't seen these, Noreen. And I thought I had read every book under the sun written about Laura.    Always something new...

I have The World's Fair, and I thought it was pleasant.

Noreen
I read some of them and wasn't happy At the time I felt that it was an incorrect presentation of Laura Ingalls, but since then I have read a little more and realised there was so much I didn't know about Laura. I still had a child's idealistic idea of her. That being said I'm happy to continue in my idealism, so I won't be reading anymore of his books. Btw I'm still not certain that his books are correct. No convincing case here
