Well, my favorite talk radio host was in town, so some of the homeschool moms and I went to the book signing. I was talking to a senior citizen behind me, who thought the fact that I was pregnant with my ninth child was WAY cool. Well, this nice old lady behind me TOLD Laura Ingram that I was expecting my 9th, and I got a SPECIAL inscription on the book she signed for me. For everyone else, she just signed her name.... but on mine it was "Large families are THE BEST!"
And the FIRST chapter in her book "Power to the People" tells about her friend with nine children, and how great large families are. And how you feel about large families is how you feel about humanity in general. VERY good book. Highly recommended.
Peace,
Macmom

What a terrific experience!
The last time Jan Brett sailed through here we went to her signing and she told my four kids after she signed their book how special and wonderful it is to have siblings!
Gotta love that!

Macmom......that is SO cool! I listen to Laura, only when our local radio guy is out of town or sick (my husband's friend ).......so I do not know much about her......only that it means Rick is unavailable.
Now, when I hear her.........I will remember how pro-family she is.
Congrats on your ninth baby! When are you due?

Laura Ingraham is NOT Dr. Laura, BTW.
Laura Ingraham is a conservative radio talk show host, #3 in the country after Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. She is also a Catholic convert, and seems much more orthodox than Sean Hannity. I really like her! (Though she is best when she is pontificating- she could be a better interviewer!)
Peace,
Macmom

I just saw her last night on EWTN, and was so impressed! I was in awe of her. The first time I've even heard of her. I was amazed to hear that she converted the same time I did-and that our conversions sound sorta the same-guided more by people(from the Holy Spirit of course!) than by books and theology.
Anyway, I look forward to reading her new book.
Blessings,
Christy
