I just ordered it. I wasn't sure if it would be any good (no one I know had ever heard of it) but she gives a recipe for cake donuts under what's for dinner and I like that in a mom.

My parents came over for dinner last evening and were talking about their block party....the author of this book lives five houses from my parents. Small world!!! Now, I really need to purchase the book.

FYI - the author never sent me the book (I ordered through the website). Emails were ignored and finally, I issued a complaint through paypal and got my money back.

FWIW: I ordered this from Amazon over the summer and really wanted to love it. The title was so great and the excerpt description on the back seemed wonderful. However, it quickly went into my donate books pile. I wish now I could remember specific reasons why but I no longer recall.

Oops...my parents gave me the wrong title of their neighbors book...it is called It Takes a Parent.
I do like the one chapter called "No!!! It is a complete sentence."
