Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have "Who Am I?" by CHC and I don't use it (I don't know why, if someone here tells me it is great, I would probably dig it out). I need some suggestions for religion for a 4 year old and a 6 year old. Thanks!!

Hey Lori,
Sorry to stalk you about the forum but I do have some suggestions:

Leading the Little Ones to Mary

and...

Chats With God's Little Ones

Along with some coloring books...

Eucharistic Adoration Coloring Book

Mother of God Coloring Book

Also the Kid Scripts book series from Pauline is great...

One example of many in the series...

The "I Wonder" Series

We use Leading Little Ones to Mary and Chat's with God' Little Ones too.

We also read the Bible, have ds narrate it to me, illustrate a picture and keep it in a binder. I got the idea from the kindergarten plans from Mother of Divine Grace.

I have a checklist of prayers for ds to learn from our church religious education program. If you would like, I will post them for you.

We have many saint books which we read and discuss. I am reading aloud Just Like Mary from Our Sunday Visitor.

We try to incorporate as much real learning as we can by following and doing activities to celebrate the liturgical year. Again, I can toss out some ideas but 24 starts in 7 minutes!!!!

God bless,

Marybeth
