Forgive the brevity of this post, but I lost my long detailed explanation of what happened. (probably too wordy any way.  )
Many of you know my story....finished RCIA, finally received my baptismal certificate from Germany, and my DRE told me that I could enter the church with everyone else this Easter. 
Well....
After asking God that if it is His will for me, our priest would let me join the church this Christmas.
After Mass, I asked Father could I talk to him in private. We discussed everything.....and....  Thanks be to God, I am finally going to be able to receive our Lord in Holy Communion come Christmas!!
I am so happy!
It's the best Christmas gift in the world!

I'm so happy for you! Welcome home!!! You have gone through so much on this journey. I can't think of a more perfect Christmas gift!
Today in our parish the catechumens and RCIA candidates were presented today. I always cry when we have these events. Each person has their own story, but you know it was a hard decision and journey. I always think that God knew I wouldn't be able to make the changes in my life, and so placed me in a cradle Catholic family. I am always in awe of people who have converted to the Catholic Faith.
 Praise God! I will thinking of you at our Christmas Mass. What a privilege!

OH -- that is WONDERFUL!
I received my first communion at Easter Vigil almost 17 years ago. What a blessing! I am in tears again thinking about that wonderful time in my life. You are so privileged to become fully a member of the Church during the season when our Savior was born to us.
