Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I wanted to let Cay know how much we've enjoyed this in our home. My 9yr dd and 6 yr dd twins are loving the books.

At first I wasn't going to purchase it as money is very tight right now for us (dh out of work), but school has been a drudgery and there's nothing like new books to perk up everyone. However, I didn't feel right using any money for non-essential books. Then I had an idea. My dad passed away last year, and I have a small amount of money from his estate. I promised myself to use the money for things our family enjoys and that dad would have enjoyed. Last year I paid for a road trip to the Little House sights because dad love vacations. What else did dad love? Books. He always gave my children books, for every celebration. I ordered Mosaic and the Advent package. So when our box arrived, I told the children it was a Christmas present from grandpa. I can see him smiling with approval.

That was a probably too long a way to say we love Mosaic, and it did indeed rejuvenate our homeschool.

And now I hear there's a January package. Temptations.

Thanks,
Janet

Oh, Janet, thank you!
You've brought tears to my eyes.

A Christmas present from grandpa. That is so rich!!! Books your children will have to cherish from grandpa for the rest of their lives.

I love this.

Thank you for giving me the best Christmas present of all through this post.
