Howdy,
I just got my copy of Catholic Mosaic yesteday and I'm sooo excited to get started.

I've been getting things ready for St. Nicholas Day and was looking at Cay's book selection for the day and the enrichment activities. One activity has your child attempting to draw an icon.

If you have the Seton Art 4 book, weeks 23, 24, and 36 are lessons on icon writing. This might be a nice extension, especially if you have older kids in the family.

Also, the St. Nicholas Center website has lots of activity and craft ideas:
