Did anyone else do a spiritual adoption last month?

Charlotte's family at Rose Petals did. Great job, Charlotte! (I tried leaving a comment but blogspot wouldn't let me. )

I just wanted to let everyone know that this is one activity that can be done all year long.

Here's another site for spiritual adoption or financial sponsorship of a child in a foreign country to go with "A Saint and His Lion" on October 27th.

Food for the Hungry

I like this site because you can see the pictures of the child you "adopt" and I really do believe in "love at first sight" and in seeing the soul of a person through their eyes.

Here is a claim by a Catholic woman who has used Food for the Hungry and is very satisfied with the blessings her $$$ has given to this child and her community.

We spiritually adopted two babies in May. It was done as we made our Blessed Mother Lapbook. It is here.
