Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone know of a place (website, etc.) where you can get assorted holy cards for a reasonable price, and preferably more traditional looking ones? We use them for all kinds of projects and gifts, and we are running low! (I never thought that would happen.)

Thank you.

I like the holy cards at Catholic Heritage Curricula. This link shows 3 pages of card sets that they carry. I haven't done the math, though -- sorry!

Thanks Jen. I like those cards too. However, the shipping is almost as much as the cards. Also, when I tried to order the mini-gray when I did my big order, they were out of them until further notice. I was also really looking for the bigger ones. We have the saints box that they sell. I am looking for cards like the mini-grey's but in the bigger size. How's that for description?

God bless,

I love your description .
Again, I haven't done the math (sorry ) but here are a few places to try:

Totally Catholic carries many holy cards. For instance, they have 100 paper cards for $12 + $5 shipping.

Here's an incredible site about holy cards, including links to sources.

Here at ebay someone is selling CD-Roms so you can print your own antique holy cards. Of course, you have to consider the price of paper and ink!

Actually, searching on ebay for sets of holy cards yields some interesting results, here

Kristen,

Catholic Stationaryhave the most beautiful cards I have ever seen $9 for a pack of 25. They do sell single cards for 49c. I plan on buying a couple of favourite sets and slowly build up or alternatively if you have some Catholic friends near by, buy a few packs between you and then split the packs

Kristen,
I urge you to e-mail St. Joseph's Press at jmjshema@pngusa.com and request a catalog. This is the KC area Catholic homeschool mom I wrote about awhile back on the SL-Cath list and I can't say enough about how absolutely fabulous her products are.
Shipping is reasonable and she'll customize your order if you ask. I knew we'd be glueing most of ours to card stock so I let her know that she needn't print the backsides of the holy cards so she didn't.
many blessings,
Lara

Thank you everyone for your replies. I did go searching e-bay last night and am watching a few auctions. I am going to check out the sites that you recommended now. Last night searching for holy cards on the prolifesearch search engine didn't produce much. That's why I came asking here.

God bless,
