Well, it's not a Catholic Company, but out of curiosity I checked Amazon.com and found most of the titles there. Other than that, some are at Sacred Heart Books and Gifts, some from Emmanuel, and some from CHC. (These are the ones I have tried, there are probably more out there.) It's hard to say no to Amazon since they have such great prices but dh and I think it is good to support Catholic Homeschooling Companies when buying new books. I'm hoping to find some at our homeschool conference this weekend. I find some great things from the used book vendors there.

Buy.com carries many of the books. A lot of their book prices are less than Amazon and a lot of their books ship for free.

ALso St. John Fisher Forum, Sacred Heart Books and Gifts and Homeschool Resouce Inc have quite a few. I know for sure that Homeschool Resource will be at the Michigan conference. Sacred Heart will be at Indiana June 24(RCHEI) and I think they may still have copies of Catholic Mosaic.
Also, visit Maureen Whittmann's table at the Michigan Conference to see Catholic Mosaic and place an order. She has only a few black and white to sell.
Edited to add: Just talked with Emmanuel Books and they are really interested in making sure they have most of the Mosaic titles, so keep checking their website.
Thanks
Margot

OK, Cay, I'm jumping in late here...how did I miss this thread? Anyway, how might I go about ordering your new opus magnus? It sounds wonderful.
PS Still enjoying Literature Alive!

I purchased some titles from New Hope Publications 1(800)764-8444 - you can call for a catalog. I found their website wasn't helpful or easy to navigate. They carry all of the Precious Life Books (Susan Andrews Brindle titles) and Juanita and Our Lady of the Angels.
I tell you this with a WARNING, though, because they carry SO MANY awesome books. Their "Little Catechism on the Eucharist" is amazing, and there are so many more great pamphlets and resources too. They are run by St. Martin de Porres Dominican Community in KY.
I hope this helps!

Thank you all. you are all so wonderful. And so is my dh. I told him that i had ordered The Catholic Mosaic and went to the website and showed him what it was and explained that our library had most of the Tomie dePaola books and just a few of the others. He told me to start buying the books for December so I would have them to start in December and ever few weeks or once a month i can buy the next months books that i don't have. He is just so wonderful. We have almost all of the Fiar books and the little house on the prairie for the prairie primer and also the anne of green gables study. Now he says i should have the books for this so i don't have to depend on the library and we can study them right. Just thought i would share as i am so happy to get to get these books.
thanks again,
Irene Reyna.
ps margot my book came in friday.
Now do i have it right that we start with the month of dec if we want to follow the year.? I am also a newly convert. hope i said that right.

Yes. The new liturgical year begins on the first Sunday of Advent...Dec. 3, 2006.
This vendor has got some of the selected books set-up very nicely on their site.

Danielle Bean recommends Catholic Mosaic
Danielle Bean asks: Where do you get good children's books on a limited budget?
Please stop by her blog and give suggestions. Thanks!

Check out St. John Fisher Forum for all the Andrews sisters' books.
They have many other selections as well.

Every time I see "Andrews Sisters" I think of the singing sisters. I love their music. I just now made the connection that the authors were sisters...I just couldn't figure out which books you were talking about!
At IHM Conference St. John Fisher had so many of these wonderful children's books displayed. I thought Cay had bent their ear already.
