Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

A book featuring one Old Testament prophet/important person per page in a stained glass style where a child could color it in, then the pictures could be taped together or to a larger sheet of paper and displayed.

We have one from about seven years ago - my mind says it was from Our Father's House. Do you know of any place that still sells this item? My friends have wished they had one. The holy people featured are:
Adam and Eve, Jesse, Noah, David, Abraham, Solomon, Isaac and Sarah, Naomi and Ruth, Hezekiah, Isaiah, Moses, Samuel, Elijah, Joseph, Mary, Elizabeth, St. John, and Jesus.

At the bottom of each page was a paragraph about each person. The whole thing is salvation history in "stained glass" form.

Any one remember this?

Jenn, thanks for looking. No, that isn't is. I should have added that the individual pictures of all the people, when put together, form an image of about three or four feet high, about 18 inches wide, with an arch at the top (with Jesus at the top). The picture include a tree (Jesse, David, Hezekiah, Joseph, and Jesus make up the trunk) with the others being branches. It's more like the final compilation is one big pretend stained glass. The original book was about six inches by ten inches or so, with a cream colored cover, with only black ink used in the book and on the cover. Someone will know...

So would it have been a Root of Jesse type activity for Advent? Sounds like something I've seen but not remembering where. Our Fathers House is definitely a possibility as you mentioned.
