I'm planning on buying the last Cat. Chat we don't own for the kids at Thanksgiving since we'll be traveling this year. But I was wondering if there might be something audio that would be good for older kids that the littles could hear ~ sorta along the same type of thing. Or an audio book that wouldn't be just another story but maybe something about the faith but entertaining too? Anyone have any suggestions?

They are not Catholic, but what about the these? I have never listened to them, so not sure what the content covers.

Forgot, there is also a new movie coming out The Altar Gang, but they still need some donations to push through final production.

Sounds like an untapped market, Jodie! Lets start producing :)
Seriously, though, all I can think of is Glory Stories...

Oh! What about the Truth and Life audio Bibleproduced by Raymond Arroyo? You can download the free app that has all of the Gospel of Mark to try it out, and then the mp3 Is only $15, I think. That would be good for orders and parents and fine for little ones, too. :)

We really love this. My 4 year old listens, too! He made me stop the CD one time after hearing Jesus talk saying "Truly, Truly, I say to you."
"Mommy, Jesus says that a lot: Truly, Truly."
It won't be the same as a "story" but preview it. Hearing the Gospel in audio is so wonderful

I loved Adventures in Odyssey as a child, but I wouldn't know whether to recommend them now. They are obviously Evangelical, so there are conversions that are very Protestant, iirc. A lot of the episodes would be just fine, but it could be hit or miss.
Focus on the Family also produces other Radio Theater. I've only heard the Narnia ones, but they are very well done, and many of the others are also based on classic works of literature.
