I recently had the chance to play the very hilarious Communion of Saints Catholic board game.
During the game you are trying to reach heaven as you go through life, sacraments, etc. The guilt and regret tokens that you earn when drawing a sin card add a nice touch  .
Also, the holy cards included in the game are some of the nicest I've ever seen, honestly.
Anyway, looks like this game is no longer being made  .
I have looked at several other Catholic board games and am wondering which ones are both fun to play and help you learn.
I have Saint Search Bingo, which we really like, and The Priest Game, which my kids have mostly outgrown.
Which ones do you like?

There is a great one based on the Catholic Catechism and it can be played by young and old alike, as they have questions that are easy, moderate or hard....can't remember the name though...we had it years ago and really loved it, then I gave it to friends.

You were close, Annie, it's Catechism of the Catholic Church Board Game. It is a good one to learn about the CCC.
Last week, I purchased Scattergories -- Catholic Edition. We had a great time playing it. With the pressure of the timer ticking in my ear I felt like I didn't know anything though!  There are card with lists of 12 phrases/words
like:
Inside a church___________
Another Name for Jesus_____
Woman who disobeyed God_________
Color in the Bible___________
Animal on Noah's Ark___________
on and on
A dice with letter on it is rolled. It may land on letter R. You have seconds to answer the phrases on your list, but all answers have to start with the letter rolled R. Little extra rules...can't have an answer like another player. Adds the challenge if it's an obvious answer.
We had a lot of fun playing.

We have Catechism of the Catholic Church and like it.
Catechich picked up this year at a yard sale.
I know there is a Catholic-opoly - haven't seen or played it.
Little FLowers Family Press has a game called To Jesus Thru Mary Boardgame. It says ages 5 and up - we thought it was a little harder than that.
Anyone ever play the old "Is the Pope Catholic" game?
I see it on ebay sometimes. Or one called "Limbo: The Game of Catholic Trivia"
How about Church Windows: Rebuild the Apostles
I've gotten some different things from this site..
And we made these "converted to Catholic" Guess Who games from Equipping Catholic Families loved them! You are all so smart. She has other converted games, too. Anyone know of anymore converted games?
Lots of different Catholic card games available, too.
ETA - We have the Communion of Saints game, and love it. Just keep a look out on ebay and etsy - you'll find one.

That sounds like Divinity. We have that one and it's a lot of fun (until all the answers are memorized - I've been meaning to check if there are additional books that could be purchased to extend its usage even further!)

Communion of Saints looks like a fun game. What are the rules? Maybe I can make something like it since they do not sell it any more.

What I love about Qwirkle is that the playing pieces are wood. They feel substantial and it's a joy to play. I really would love something else similar to that.

I made a religious game out of it that you might like:
Tower of Babel- This is a variation on the popular game of Jenga with players taking turns drawing a card and asking the player to their left a question about the Tower of Babel. If the player does not answer the question correctly, they must carefully remove a block with one hand (you can switch hands whenever you wish) from anywhere BELOW the highest completed story. Then stack it on top of the tower, at right angles to the blocks just below it. If the player answers the question correctly, the player that asked the question must remove one block from the tower. Play continues clockwise. The last player to take a turn without making the Tower of Babel fall wins the game.

It is very 70's game - "how do you feel?"
The wiki post sums it up - The Ungame, created in 1972 by Rhea Zakich, is a non-competitive learning game of conversation that "fosters listening skills as well as self-expression."
My husband got it when he was in high school or college and they used it for youth group. Can't remember if it was the generic version or the Catholic one. I thought we might still have it so I could check but can't seem to find it in the basement. As I recall I tried to play it once when we were first married and found it not to be enjoyable at all. But that was a long time ago so I might have memory issues...

The Ungame - Catholic Version is a redesign of the classic Ungame packaged with the updated standard Ungame board and two new decks of cards with questions specifically meant to start discussion on the Catholic faith of the game participants.
Players roll the dice and travel around the game board answering questions along the way. The journey's the thing, as there is no finish line and no losers.
Players will answer questions from one of two decks. Deck one is light hearted and meant to break the ice. Deck two is deeper and meant to be more thought provoking.
Examples of questions from the publisher:
If you could meet three famous Catholics from past or present, who would you choose? Why?
Do you have a patron saint? Who? Why did you choose that person?
What do you think HEAVEN is like?
How does your Catholic faith show in your actions?
*This game looks like it would be a lot of fun!

Bumping....and wanting to know if anyone has any of the games from Catholic Child?
I'm looking for a couple games for my 10,11,12 yo, who were just confirmed this year. I gave them a gift certif to purchase a couple games as Confirmation Gifts and they are trying to decide what they want.
We're going to get Divinity for sure. And, then how about any of these mainstream-games-made-religious?

The only one we have is Scattagories. It is just like regular Scattagories but with categories from the Bible or faith. Frankly, we found it pretty challenging. The kids never really like it (though they love regular Scattagories) because they couldn't get very many answers. Maybe we are just ignorant on the topic. For example, here is a list of categories from one of the cards. You have to think of a word that starts with a particular assigned letter (example D) for each category. You only get credit if no one else gets the same answer. How many could you get? Oh and it is timed...Oh, and you can't use the same answer twice...
1. Names for God the Father
2. Examples of wisdom
3. Men who disobeyed God
4. Laws given to Israel
5. Miracles from God
6. Animals that hurt people
7. Things associated with Abraham
8. Good kings
9. Places missionaries visited
10. Things associated with prophecy
11. Men in the New Testament
12. Examples of God's Grace
It is hard just because it is so specific. Everyone could think of an example or more obviously - but rarely with the assigned letter - it really is narrow options for answers. Maybe a biblical scholar would have more names at the tip of tongue.
Unfortunately, we haven't played any of the others, but I imagine that either Taboo or Apples to Apples would be good and more broad, easier to play. My kids love both of those as regular games and you don't have to "know" things to play. Outburst might be hard - though you don't have to stick to one letter for guessing and you work in teams so could pair younger and older. I think it is the one letter part that make sit so hard when you have already limited it to Bible anyway.

One game for older kids that we've enjoyed isJourneys of Paul. It's not specifically Catholic, but really does help with the geography of the early churches that St. Paul established.
