Can anyone tell me where to get a baby Jesus for the Mary candle?
I've been inspired by the advent posts of Jen and Jenn!

We had a thread from a while back with ideas - especially for the wax infant Jesus. Unfortunately all the old links are dead - or the companies aren't selling them any longer. Seems harder and harder to find something reasonably priced, yet lovely. We also discussed in the past making them in beeswax using candy molds.

Why is it so hard to find these infant Jesus figures? Looks like we need to compile a new list of potential places to purchase infant Jesus figures.
Catholic Supply does have these plain plastic ones:

I was thinking of that old thread, too, Mary.  I'm disappointed that the little beeswax figures are no longer available, but I do think the best option is the candy mold of an infant figure.
Does anyone have a good candy mold that would work?
Alternatively, the little plastic figure you linked from Catholic Supply is a really good option, too!

Etsy has some other offerings that I thought had potential.
Pure Beeswax Nativity - $35
Same store - just the figures of Infant Jesus, Mary and Joseph - $7.50
I've had very good luck working with Etsy shop owners! You could communicate with this owner to ask if you could request just the Infant Jesus. The shop owner describes the Infant Jesus beeswax figure as 1/2 inch tall - that's not very big, and it might work as the base of a Mary candle.

I love the look of the beeswax nativity. Thanks for all of the replies. I will let you know what I find.
Do you burn the Mary candle with the baby Jesus inside?!

I'm thinking I should go into business...make my own mold from my existing Baby Jesus!
I never light my candle. Shocking, I know.

I don't light mine either, Stephanie.  I just don't have the heart to.
But, I was thinking that if I had a simple, lovely beeswax pillar with a beeswax figure of the infant Jesus sitting by the base of the candle, I'd definitely burn that one.

That has been a thought of mine, too. I have another lovely resin Jesus that a mold could be made from - then used for wax.

Also been thinking about the possibility of making it a wax hurricane candle style so you have the outer wax shell that doesn't burn, but you get the glowing/burning effect.

Thank you this is so interesting! Dh and I met on the Feast of the IC... So it's special and I was looking for a special way to celebrate this year!
