What is the difference between the regular parish adoration and a children's Eucharist adoration time?

I don't know if there are different methods to a Children's Adoration hour, however, this is my experience with Children's Adoration with Fr. Antione.

Father Antione is one of the leading promoters of Children's Adoration.I have have had the privilege of attending many Adoration hours that he lead with my children.

In essence there is no difference in and adult hour vs a children's hour of Adoration. However, as an adult it common to do praying, scripture reading, adoration, spiritual reading, etc., quietly by yourself. A children's hour does all of these things in short segments and Fr. Antione, or another Priest/Sister/Adult, leads the children in them.

I wish that this was more available for children, as it was so powerful for the children, as well as, the parents!

That's been my experience with Children's adoration as well.

We actually have a Children's Adoration group which neets regularly to practice their prayers and songs.

Adoration is once a month. My daughters have greatly enjoyed this and have been willing to sacrifice other opportunities to go to Adoration.

We have 2 churches near us that have "children's adoration", and they are sooooo different! Our parish has an hour for children where lots of moms show up and we just do the best we can with our kids. No one is annoyed if the kids are disruptive, but we all try our best to teach them to be quiet and pray. This happens every week. I was told sometimes they pray a rosary out loud, but I've never seen it done. It usually takes me the entire hour to get a silent rosary in.

The church where my husband works has children's adoration once a month, and they have a priest that sings praise and worship music on his guitar while the children dance and sing at the front of the church. It's like night and day.

Ok, off to check out this link about Fr. Antione.
