I just finished reading the Abby Johnson book, Unplanned. I have been shaken to the core by this book. I totally recommend it, but my question is, for those of you that have read it, why would they do a Catholic edition of the book? Anyone know? Fr. Fessio of Ignatius Press mentions that it is a Catholic version of the book in the first few pages, so I'm just curious. Thanks!

I don't know about the different versions but I am happy my library is going to have it, just put it on hold.

I haven't read it yet, but my friend said that the Ignatius Press edition discusses how she eventually converted to Catholicism. I can't wait to read it, regardless!

I didn't see that in the book, but that would be awesome if it is included.

I ordered it from Amazon, didn't realize there were different versions. I sat down and read the entire book in about 3 hours straight, couldn't put it down. There was nothing in it about her becoming Catholic, and I didn't even know she had until my friend told me after I loaned her the book. So maybe they did add a chapter at the end or something for that.

Press release including info on conversion. She has not yet officially entered the Church.
