Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Does anyone have experience with The Holy Mass lapbook?

I wanted to know how indepth this lapbook is. Is it more of a fun lapbook or a good tool for learning about the Mass for a 10yo?

Thank you!

I've found that the lapbooks generally provide a good depth of knowledge.   The Mass lapbook in particular provides a good grounding.

My only caveat is that the little books tend be summarizations so it's generally a good idea to read and discuss them together in case your child needs some points expanded upon.

They are easily expandable however as you have the choice of printing blank books for the child to fill in as well as pre-printed books.

[BTW one of the sources given for the Mass Lapbook is A Pocket Guide to the Mass, which happens to be a great book to read with older children.]

I'm not sure about this particular one but I purchased The Ten Commandments folder at a conference last year. Although I still haven't used it it's 141 pages with various options, plenty of instructions and appears to be a lot of information for this topic.

I did get it out after I saw your question and I'm going to start and work on this in February with the kiddos.

I think that these Lapbooks are a very good idea. If they have 141 pages, they have more than I had thought.

Thanks for posting.
