Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Ladies I am trying to have a year of novenas and would really like to find a good novena book . Any ideas ?
I looked online at chapters and there are a few books but not sure which to get . some are for saints , then there are rosary novenas . I'd like a more general novena book which includes holy family , a few saints , holy spirit that sort of thing . novenas for all occassions type thing as one never knows what situation may arise etc.
If you have any ideas I'd appreciate your suggestions I'd like to find one I can purchase here in Canada
Thank You
Rox

Fr. Lovasik's is a classic. Has over forty novenas from different seasons and many different topics and saints. I don't have a copy or I'd list them, but I've seen it and remember it having most of those you mentioned.

Treasury of Novenas

Fr. Lovasik has other novena books as well.

I agree with Mary. I have a few other sources

The New Revised Jesus, Mary, Joseph Novena Manual by Father Stedman but it doesn't have all the novenas you listed.

Thirty Favorite Novenas is a classic my mother had...I don't have a listing of the novenas, but from my memory I recall it covering the basics and then some.

You can also read online or download for free the Raccolta, which was the treasury of indulgenced prayers from 1910 before indulgences were revised in 1968 in the Enchiridion. (Which means, the indulgences attached to the prayers are no longer applicable, but the prayers are still worthy of praying.)
