Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Great idea!!!   Here's the link for the EWTN site:

The prayer cards at the back of churches are also great.

We have what I have labeled an "Album of Prayers". I don't know how to post a picture here or I would show you what it looks like. Basically, it's just a white binder with a decorated cover and inside I have copies of the various novena prayers we've said as a family as well as many of the
beautiful prints from CHC
of the various prayers, Stations of the Cross, Mysteries of the Rosary, etc. It's a real treasure! Currently, we are working on a list of items we are thankful for which will also be placed in this binder. It sits right by the little table in the room where we join for family prayers.

The two websites below were very helpful (along with EWTN's site) for creating a prayer binder. We used the biggest binder we could find, with an inside pocket for holy cards and prayer booklets. Tabs for months of the year (borrowed from an old planner), help separate seasons and feastdays a little more easily. The days of the week and months of the year have certain devotions attached to them and prayers could be further organized in that manner. Plan for your binder to grow, especially as many beautiful prayers are shared here!
