Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

ETA: Here's the blog link.

I'll be doing a more complete review of this book on my blog later (have to do school at some point today! ) but I did want to mention a great book for Lent: Divine Mercy: A Guide from Genesis to Benedict XVI by Robert Stackpole. This book is GREAT -- it starts with scripture than thru the Church fathers and saints and finishes with JP2 and Benedict and reviews all their writings on Divine Mercy .... this is a great lead in to the whole point of Easter -- God's Divine Mercy!

This would be a great book for highschoolers that need to think a bit .... as well as us older folks who want a clearer understanding of mercy and Mercy! At the end of each chapter, he includes some study questions and than a provocative question that could be used as a meditation.

Excellent!
