That is a less common image than some other Christ titles in artwork.

I don't know if this is at all what you are looking for. I associate Christ the King with the image of His entry into Jerusalem. A good friend of ours has this Octavio O'Campo picture which I have always found intriguing. It's a "hidden" picture - two pictures in one. Look closely.




For a more traditional Christ in Glory I like Giotto's Christ Enthroned from the Stefaneschi Triptych:
