Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am trying to decide between two DVD's to purchase for my family.
DVD #1:
http://www.catholicfreeshipping.com/Products/cfs_trmaforchdv d.html

DVD #2: (With online preview!)
http://www.sanctamissa.org/en/latin-mass-dvd/

Any opinions?
My kids ages are: DS 7, DS 6, DS almost 5, DS 3, and DD 20 mths

My kids thought #1 was boring.

I bought it for them when we moved to here. We have the Latin Mass at our church.

They LOVE this book: Know Your Mass

We take it to Mass and my youngest 2 keep track of where we are in the Mass.

We have #1 and I like it. There have been quite a few things I have learnt from it that make me glad I got it.

My children are similar in age to yours. I have found that watching it a little bit at a time works best. Enough for them to absorb some new detail and talk it over. They do then go on to notice this new thing at mass.

For this age group neither of these dvd's is likely to keep their attention for long. But I have found #1 at least (I'm not familiar with #2) to still be worth having on my shelf for them to watch.

I also agree with the recommendation for 'Know Your Mass' Its a great book to have.

I had a quick look at #2 and the impression I get is that #1 is probably a better choice as it is made for children, whereas #2 is for older children or adults.
Hope thats helpful
