I'd like to give a gift to my nephew. He'll be doing his 1st Holy Communion in May. Looking for something that would benefit him, perhaps to help with his 1st Holy Communion preparation. A religious book or dvd? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I don't have anyone recieving any sacraments this year so I haven't been thinking about it myself. We really like the Cat Chat cd's that is mentioned on the thread I linked to. Fun, with music, but also good info.

I love to buy gifts from Catholic Child. For my latest FHC ds, he received a special rosary from Beads of Mercy and then a saint book from Catholic Child. They have different ones and it's been nice having 4 boys in a row making their FHC every 2 years, we get a nice new book each time Also I highly recommend the Glory Story CDs. All of my dc, all ages (teen to 4) like to listen.
