I am trying to buy the Nippert Alphabet of Catholic Saints - but it doesn't seem to be available in England. I'm stumped. I could cobble something together with various books we have, but the one book that actually ties in and has illustrations that look like my boy would accept he could draw pictures inspired by them - that makes more sense to me. Have any other British mothers been able to source the book? Could you tell me where?

Elizabeth, I always get befuddulated by buying from overseas. Do you have experience? Do you just use your regular card and they change it into dollars or something? I just can't get how I can pay in dollars...I feel very thick!

The publisher of the book will also ship overseas although you will need to inquire as to the shipping cost.

They also sell various CD's of clipart with a CD discount of 50% for homeschoolers (Teacher's helper edition #7 has all the Alphabet Saint images) Catholic Artwork

[You need to use their order form instead of the paypal one for the homeschool discount]

If your credit card is anything like mine (I'm Canadian) then the funds will be automatically paid in US dollars and charged to you on your credit card bill in your currency.

Don't get befuddulated Lucy! I've ordered from Amazon.com quite a few times and it's fine -- the screens are all the same, and you can easily check the postage charge. Incidentally, I got that figure from Bookfinder -- it calculates postage and converts the total into £ for you. (But it doesn't include all the small Catholic booksellers unfortunately.)

The postal time is variable but can be surprisingly quick. Apparently you are occasionally stung for customs tax by the postman but that's never happened to me (and sounds very bizarre!)
