Catholic Culture has about 7 articles that I found. If this link doesn't work, just type in "Mason" to bring them up.

A few links that I found:
Scripture Catholic[Green light rated site on Catholic Culture.org]"The compilation of this site was made during the webmaster's journey out of Freemasonry and back to the Catholic Church. The material reflects issues that were critical to his personal journey, and is therefore, by no means, exhaustive. The site is intended to function as a quick Scriptural reference guide, and must of course be accompanied by further study of the Scriptures, the early Church Fathers and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. "
Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith Statment [not much "why" but very clear on rule]
Catholics and Free Masonry article by Fr. William Saunders
Catholics and the Freemason 'Religion' also by Fr. Saunders.
Search of "freemasonry" on Catholic Culture website (9 documents) (I'm not sure if this link will work, but I'm going for it! )
Hope this helps...
Jen

Three cheers for Jenn and Jen; now affectionately known as "The Jens"??!! I typed this request off quickly as I had to zip to town for a few groceries and I just knew there'd be something great when I got back!
And is there an emoticon of a hand slapping a forehead??? Why didn't I think of Catholic Culture?
I appreciate your leg work on this gals. And a few prayers for this Catholic family would be appreciated, I'm sure.
God bless,
Angela

Elizabeth, thank you, but I will be happy to be considered even a princess in Jenn's kingdom (queendom?). Although I am not in Jenn's league, I do love to research/look up things. (If only there was a job out there so I could surf the internet while being paid! )
Jenn, I didn't even know you had posted until just now -- I guess I was working on my post when you posted. oops.
Angela, I will pray for the Catholic family that you asked about.

Thanks, Jen, but I humbly disagree. You are great! And there's another one I can't even touch--MaryM!!!

Your post was more thorough. I had even posted a messy link which I had to fix.
