Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi ladies,
I have an idea could you give me some feed back please.

Each week I'm going to post a prayer request to anyone who views my blog, asking them to join me in praying for a particular priest each week. You may know them or you may not but please if you visit could you say a Hail Mary for the priest mentioned.

All our priests need our prayers with or without it being the year of the priest. But this, Year of..., is a plea by the church for us to all unite together in prayer and service to celebrate, appreciate and be grateful for our priests/Bishops/Cardinals/Seminarians and our beloved Pope; Especially in a time when they are being so heavily attacked and persecuted.

If you would like to join your blog to this purpose nominating a priest we can start a united focus on particular priests to pray for. It could be praying for his vocation, his health, any situation that he may be facing, please feel free.

If you could let me know I would like to start a blog role listing all the participants.
I’m HOPING to offer this as a permanent blog to share and be added too through out this Year of the Priest.
Please Pm me if you would like to discuss this
God Bless
Zeliemum

What a good idea! They are certainly under attack. I've been offering up the household chore I hate, folding laundry, for priests.

I have been thinking about this for a while now. Originally just the children and I were going to pray for a particular priest each week on top of our general prayers for the priesthood, and then this thought came to me.
I will have something up and running soon to share with anyone who would like to join in and share the prayers around.
We'll all get to know numerously more priests and they will benefit greatly from many additional prayers and extra grace needed in this era of difficulty for the priest.

God Bless
Z
