Does anyone have The Traditional Mass for children DVD? I really would like to get it! I had placed an order at the begining of the month with a certain company, but they have yet to deliver it so I just canceled the order. It was supposed to be a 1st Communion gift for my son.
If you have the DVD, what's it like?
Here's a link to the DVD from a different company than I had ordered from:

We have it - though we are not at home right now to review it for you... We watched it last summer and loved it, I remember that much!

We haven't watched it in a while. Overall, I think we liked it, but some of the explanations of symbolism were very strange to me. I'm not sure I trust it to be completely accurate. Nothing bad, just a lot of "when the priest does x we are to remember x" that I remember thinking "um, I'm not sure that means that" but nothing that would be heretical if you did think it meant that, iykwim.

I am looking at purchasing this. Wondered how you ended upliking it Susana or if anyone else has it? Do those who have it like it for teaching their kids? Does anyone have an alternative that they really like for teaching their children about the TLM?
I really want dc to understand and love the Mass. I know until I was about 14 I really had no clue about the Mass, and I thought of it more as a "happy meal" with all the modern kind of songs usually sung at the Ordinary Form we attended. I love the beauty of the Extraordinary Form, and really desire our Little Ones to understand it more. I want to learn more about the Traditional Rite and all we see there, and more of the Mass it's history etc. Not necessarily all of this is expected in the video I'm looking for, but would like as much of this in it as possible.
Sorry if this kind of rambles or doesn't make a lot of sense. Hurrying to write this in the middle of schooling and dinner prep.

We purchased this DVD shortly after we started going to a TLM parish. Our pastor recommended it to us as a means of helping our children better understand the Mass and why things happen during the Mass. It helped them and me. We have watched the DVD a few times. The children like the the songs that are included, too. I purchased our copy from Shop in His Image and it arrived fairly quickly. The Way of the Cross for Children is also worthwhile.
If you have boys who serve the Mass or may serve the Mass in the future, then I highly recommend getting the How to Serve the Latin Mass DVD from Fraternity Publications. My eldest son has learned so much from this DVD. I have not watched it, yet.

I haven't bought the DVD yet, but Pro Multis Media now has sample videos of their DVD's up on their website! I think I will end up purchasing the DVD in the next few days.
I hope it comes in handy for you. I've attended the traditional Latin Mass since I was born and love it, and so do my children!

I wasn't raised with the TLM, but have loved it very much since I was exposed to it as an adult. I was so happy when I met my dh that he went to the TLM! We all love it now, dd has come to love it, and it has truly enriched our Faith and our day-to-day living of the Faith! Thanks for the input!
